ALTHERM awning windows are New Zealand’s most popular window format. They push out from the bottom, so provide weather protection when they are open. They are available in various profiles across the ALTHERM Residential, ThermalHeart, METRO SERIES and APL ARCHITECTURAL SERIES.
Side-opening casement windows catch the breeze and direct air inwards. In exposed positions they may be restrained by a restrictor. Shelter from above with projecting eaves or soffits is desirable to provide good weather cover. ALTHERM casements can be opened to 90 degrees with special window stays.
